I want to first tell you that the pie was awesome! I have not had tasted a pie that good since I was at Paula Deen’s restaurant. Okay, let me be even more honest, I love your pie a lot better that the one at her restaurant and that is hard to compete with! Lemon ice box is one of my favorites, especially when we go to BBQ places, so when I read your email and saw that you were having it for a dessert special; I made sure that I made it to try the pie.

My mother loves lemon as well so after I had a slice, I asked Ms. Mary Ellis if I could get a slice to go for my mother. Instead of going back to work, I went straight to my parent’s business and gave her the pie. Is there a way that you could make two pies for my mother’s birthday? Her birthday is March 10th but we will celebrate on March 6th. If you could make the pies I would greatly appreciate it and I know that everyone else in my family would as well. My husband was upset that I didn’t bring him a slice so here is my chance to make up for that! Please let me know the cost and if I could pick them up on Friday, March 5th at a time that is convenient for you.

Thanks for all that you do and for all of the GREAT food that you provide here in Birmingham! You make working full time and attending school full time enjoyable because of all of the great food! Your words are great encouragement and uplifting. Thank You,
